IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE;
most bug zapper makers suggest that you change your bulb once per year these days,
due to spectral degeneration and lumen depreciation, which reduces efficacy in the new types of bulbs; this applies to all fluorescent lamps used for this purpose,
except that these are vintage and were made before the amount of mercury allowed in mfg. of lamps by the US government was cut;
the amount of mercury determines life rating.
These should last a good long time.
IF any bug zapper bulb, at the end of life, start to flicker or strobe replace immediately to protect your equipment.
