Description
JADAM Wetting Agent (JWA) Natural Farming Surfactant, Pesticide. 475 ML, 1 glass bottleThis wetting agent was made following Youngsang Cho's Recipe and instructions. They use this in Korean Natural Farming or "JADAM" as a surfactant to fight plant pests and diseases. Also adds a little potassium. I recommend everyone to look in to "JADAM" and "KNF" agricultural teachings and developments before using these products.
Youngsang Cho states that it should only be use for foliar applications.
Do eat. Do not drink.
You can treated it like you would with any conventional liquid soap!
Contents may arrive looking milky with white streaks from shipping/agitation. This is okay and normal. Its soap foam. You can still use it. After a few days it will clear up if kept static. Be assured, distilled/soft water was used when making this.
Dilution rates for use can vary depending on user demand from 1:30 to 1:100
Make it yourself!! Here's the recipe for the DIY'ers. After all that's what JADAM and KNF is about!
This item is for people that don't want to go through the troubles of making large batches for small applications or possibly even want to try it before investing.
Youngsang Cho's recipe for 10L
0.25 liters or 1 cup of soft water, rainwater, or distilled water.
DO NOT use HARD water
0.32 kg or 0.71 pounds of potassium hydroxide (90%) (KOH) aka caustic potash.
Always dissolve step 2(Potassium Hydroxide (KOH)) into step 1 (Water). Mixing in reverse may cause injury. This mixture will off-gas and heat up to burning temps. Wear protective goggles and gloves, long sleeves, etc.
Attempt at your own risk!
1.8 liters or 0.48 gallons of canola oil after KOH has dissolved into water.
Mix until thin mayonnaise consistency. This part is dangerous. EXTREME CAUTION is needed. Mixture is hot and caustic. Use necessary protections. Eye protection, gloves, long sleeves etc. Most people will not attempt to make this due to this step.
Attempt at your own risk!
Let sit for 3 days to harden like a soft butter
8 liters or 2.11 gallons of water to dilute at end until fully liquid usually takes 24 hours.
Bottle it up and enjoy.
No shelf life.
Ingredients: Distilled water, Canola oil, Potassium hydroxide (KOH)
